About the photographer:
Chennai based G. Venket Ram is an illustrious photographer, who has worked for over 18 years, with various advertising agencies & publishing houses across India. He has also contributed to the film industry, shooting for promos for over a hundred movies. He strives for perfection for every picture he shoots, taking great care in composing each frame & paying great attention to detail.
Significant brand campaigns shot by him include: Ponds, Reebok, Citibank, Cadbury’s, Alpenlibe, Pepsi, Mirinda, Coca Cola, Fanta, Airtel, Tata Sky, ITC Limited, Aircel, Apollo Hospitals, Samsung, Prince Jewellery besides many others.
Besides his regular work, he has made some mind-blowing images that were not in his professional agenda, and exhibited them. In 2003, he showcased his Black & white photographs depicting the temples of the Chola Dynasty – Thanjavur at the Alliance Francaise. Venket Ram has worked closely with most of South India’s celebrated actors, famous personalities and has also created some timeless, epic calendars.
