Since November 2018, the CPB foundation has been conducting photography workshops across Chennai, comprising of 265 schools from various backgrounds. 25 of the most promising kids were invited to attend an advanced photography workshop on visual storytelling. Over the two days of this residential camp, the students were subjected to a lot of activities at varying backdrops and were allowed to capture at their heart’s will.
Equipped with iPhone XR’s, the students captured the usual, that we may often miss to notice. The pictures displayed at the museum capture the life of fisherfolk and the beauty of Chennai’s coastline in vivid colours. The showcase received tremendous appreciation from across the globe. As it is often said, photography starts in the eye, and not in the camera.
